Everyone will think you're the cat's meow when you serve this elegant-looking entree! And they will never know how easy it was, unless you tell them, of course! Step-by-step

  • Preheat oven to 375*F.
  • In bowl, combine turkey, 1 cup of the cheese, celery, green onion if using, cranberries, parsley, mayonnaise, mustard and black pepper. Mix well. Set aside.
  • Unroll the 2 packages of crescent rolls; separate into 16 triangles in a circle on a large pizza pan or stone with wide ends 3 inches from the edge of pizza pan and points towards the outside. Points will extend off the edge of the pan (depending on size).
  • Arrange the remaining triangles in the center of the pan, matching wide ends with triangles already in placed. The points will overlap in center.

  • Tuck the last end under first.
  • Brush top of wreath with egg white.
  • Sprinkle with remaining 1/4 cup cheese.
  • Bake 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Enjoy!

My Festive Turkey and Cranberry Wreath: A Weeknight Wonder

As a busy working mom, finding time to cook delicious, impressive meals can feel like a Herculean task. Between juggling work deadlines, school pick-ups, and all the other demands of modern life, the thought of spending hours in the kitchen often leaves me feeling overwhelmed. That's why I'm always on the lookout for recipes that deliver big on flavor and presentation without requiring an equally big time commitment. And let me tell you, this Turkey and Cranberry Wreath is a game-changer.

I stumbled upon this recipe – a delightful twist on a classic – while browsing through my well-loved Pampered Chef cookbook. The original recipe, already a winner, inspired me to experiment a little. I tweaked a few things, making it even easier to create this stunning centerpiece for any occasion. It's the kind of dish that leaves your guests wondering how you managed to pull off such elegance in such little time – a little secret I’m happy to share.

The beauty of this recipe lies in its versatility. It's perfect for utilizing leftover turkey, transforming what might otherwise be a simple leftover meal into a culinary masterpiece. I've found that it's just as impressive served to dinner guests as it is enjoyed on a cozy weeknight with the family. The sweet and savory combination of cranberry and turkey is wonderfully balanced, and the crescent roll base is both delicate and incredibly easy to work with. The slightly tart cranberries cut through the richness of the turkey, creating a delicious harmony of flavors. Honestly, it's so good I’ve even considered making it a Thanksgiving staple – a beautiful change of pace from the traditional turkey and stuffing.

The preparation process itself is surprisingly simple and straightforward. The dough comes together quickly, and the assembly, while involving a few steps, is intuitive and fun. I often find that involving the kids in the shaping process – carefully arranging the crescent roll triangles to form the wreath – turns this into a family cooking project, making it all the more special. The result is a magnificent wreath-shaped creation, bursting with flavor and festive appeal, completely worthy of any holiday gathering or special occasion.

The Key to Success: The secret to this recipe's success is the combination of simple ingredients, elevated through clever presentation. The crescent rolls provide a flaky, buttery base that's utterly irresistible, while the turkey mixture brings a hearty and satisfying core. The cranberries add a burst of tart sweetness, and the cheese adds a beautiful golden brown topping in the oven. It’s a perfect blend of textures and flavors that will leave everyone wanting more.

This recipe has quickly become a favorite in our household, and I'm confident it will quickly become one of your go-to dishes as well. It's a guaranteed crowd-pleaser, whether you're serving it to a small gathering or a larger group. So, the next time you're looking for a simple yet impressive dish to wow your guests or family, give this Turkey and Cranberry Wreath a try. You won't regret it!

I recommend serving this wreath alongside a simple green salad and perhaps some roasted vegetables for a well-rounded meal. The possibilities are endless, depending on the time of year and the preference of your guests. The wreath is incredibly versatile and adaptable, so feel free to tailor it to your liking.

Ultimately, this recipe embodies everything I look for in a go-to dish: It's easy to prepare, impressive to serve, and delicious to eat. It's the kind of recipe that helps me balance the demands of my busy life with my love of creating special moments around the dinner table. And what more could a busy working mom ask for?
